UK Bribery Act

In March 2010, the UK government passed the UK Bribery Act, which will take effect on the 1st of July 2011 and is designed to condense and codify pre-existing anti-bribery laws.

Following on from this, in April of this year, the UK Ministry of Justice issued its Guidance to the new Act, which aims to help UK organisations by outlining the procedures they can take to prevent bribing.

This section is designed to bring information on the new Act together in one place and to serve as a resource for UK businesses learning to cope with the new Act.
